I am in the middle of trying to put the photos from the Red River Gorge Bigfoot Fest 2025 into a you tube slide show. It will probably end up being 2 or 3 videos. A lot of the pics of the people wearing all of the different bigfoot shirts are kind of fun to look at. There are a lot of smiles. Bigfoot can usually be counted on for that. I would like to get that done before I take even more pics at the Woodbooger Festival in Norton.

Once I figure out a way to share the experience better on the blog I will probably start attending more of the bigfoot conferences and festivals across the country. We will embark on a journey together thru the world of bigfoot in pop culture. It sounds like a lot of fun. Time will tell : )

say “not for me”

it is my life
it's passing me by
cuts like a knife
makes my soul cry

it is new fangled
flowing and clean
it is a rectangle
a glowing screen

the case is beveled
to attract you
the work of the devil
is to distract you

not holy not fair
its song is sung
it slowly lets the air
out of our lungs

bigfoot watches
stays behind the tree
all of the sasquatches
say"not for me"

as the screen glows
and imparts information
it seems nobody knows
the art of conversation

There is a new video in the drop down menu. It is in the Drone Flyover Videos section. If you are on a mobile device or tablet you can access the menu by tapping on the 3 slashes in the upper right hand corner. They will take you to the home page, the drop down menu and the blog posts. If you are on laptop or desktop the menu should be across the top of your screen.

In the Drone Flyover Videos section the newest video will be at the bottom of the list. My next few you tube videos will probably be bigfoot festival slide shows. I have enough photos from the Red River Gorge Bigfoot Fest 2025 to make 4 or 5 you tube slide shows. And I am planning on taking some photos at the Woodbooger Festival in Norton VA. So they will probably make their way on to slideshows as well.

I have several projects planned to shoot with the drone. A lot of those may be on hold as we wait for the leaves to change in the next few weeks. Once the leaves do change I will probably be filming just about every day to take advantage of the window before the leaves fall from the trees. Some projects I may shoot with the leaves and look at it on the computer screen and then decide it would be a better view of the actual subject without the leaves. I guess that is enough of me meandering on about what may or may not happen : )

That is not really worrying but one of my favorite quotes does talk about worrying and the fact that not every thing happens that we think is going to.

the bell rings

to have hope

proclaims the pope

moves at night
thru hill and holler
seeks to do right

I should be very close to putting out a new drone flyover video that consists of bush hogging on the same hill that the other 3 videos are on. I should get it onto you tube either today or tomorrow. I will be spending much more time in the holler over the next few months. I will probably put about 10 new videos up on you tube by the end of the year. I am waiting for the leaves to change color on many of the videos. And for some of the videos I am probably waiting for them to fall off of the trees so the drone can film what they hide.

The poem mentions the path that we all choose in our life whether we are aware that we are choosing it or not. So choose your path mindfully and stride forth boldly with a smile on your face.

like a pea
in a pod

on bigfoot's merry go round

I was tempted to use “go head and bay – like a hound” but I thought more people would be more familiar with being clowned than the long loud sounds that you hear when you deal with hounds. It makes me giggle because in a way all the bigfoot studies kind of remind me of a pack of hounds on the trail of something that is impossible to catch. And what makes me giggle even more is all of you who are reading this thinking to yourself “that’s because there is nothing to catch.”

It is good to giggle early in the day or really any time. Enjoy your day. Smile and giggle and make other people do it as well.
