for what it yearns

crazy as it seems
it is worth noting
so many of our dreams
they involve floating

bigfoot on a bike
I cannot decide
what would he like

he's a real bruiser
in the woods & thickets
a big steel cruiser
would that be the ticket

would he hug the tank
a sportbike slave
& the throttle yank
on a road paved

needing lots of attention
on his way home
speeding to another dimension

I have been dealing with motorcycles so much that I may have them on the brain. Tomorrow’s poem may have bigfoot dialing in camera and microphone settings and dealing with video editing software. But as I mentioned a couple of days ago we are getting closer to getting some of the curvy road videos up on YouTube.

We are getting close to shooting the motorcycle videos this summer. I am currently trying to get all the settings for the cameras and microphones dialed in. The first videos will be point of view over the handlebars combined with the exhaust notes. Once we have everything dialed in we will move on to shooting with a front and rear camera and combining that with drone footage and music in the editing process. It may take a little longer getting that workflow worked out.

This is another post about David Lynch. For those of you who are not familiar with him I will explain some of the lines. Peeking twins is a reference to his TV show Twin Peaks. His films and TV shows were very different to say the least. So that is where the line ” have a different take” comes from. Both he and bigfoot seem like they are from somewhere else. And both seem to be pointing at things we don’t know about. That is where the line “smell what the ether cooks” comes from. And the line “lady of the lake” kind of riffs on the mythical nature that they both share. And it points to the fact that there seems to be an awfully lot hidden and unrevealed.
