out among the insects
gets in no cars
gets in no wrecks

out among the germs
does that dance
agrees to no terms
owes no finance

cold are his winters
mountain air tops
does not enter
any repair shops

reads the Book
slow he prays
& always looks
both ways

across their fleet
all their miles

in every minute

a wizard's spell
a mystical map
a deep well

all that is unseen
waiting on a shelf

the final frontier

the question is put
out in the trees
I think that bigfoot
probably agrees

The last stanza was thrown in to somehow drag bigfoot into the poem. This poem will be number 498 in the blog that focuses on bigfoot. Sometime after 500 the poems may start to veer off on different subjects. I’m not sure yet. But we’ll see.
