a different path

I am a miner
for words I dig
to fly on an airliner
a bird that is big

from in the ground 
to in the air
match their sound
make them pair

let off the brakes
let the wheels roll
along with them take
in their wings my soul

look to the sky
the runway is clear 
I say goodbye
this day to fear

bigfoot is spying
as over I pass
he knows I'm flying
in first class

wind blows the sky
and the entire sea
he knows he flies 
higher than me

even as I soar 
over the trees
he sees more 
than I see

under a different oath
on a different path
and we are both
okay with that

answer travel's call
sail with the swift
until the gavel falls
and the veil lifts

faithful souls
true our hearts
play our roles
do our parts

Risen not rotten
strong the rhyme flows
written about values forgotten
a long time ago

apes in caves
sasquatches unknown
He who escaped the grave
watches from His throne

the angels sing
heavenly voices lifted
"put bigger wings
on that cryptid"

shine their lamp 
approve the good
bigfoot breaks camp
& moves thru the woods

watch the waves
from the shore
watch us slave
while they soar

message Heaven sends
always hear it
the earth blends
together their spirit

they combine 
air and dirt
hold the line
prepared and alert

they all come
far and near
the same drum
they all hear

a judge immortal
holds their gavel
as thru the portal
they all travel

Today will be a short post for the blog. I had intended to get the drone in the air yesterday morning but took too long putting out yesterday’s post. So I’m out the door this morning with full batteries, updated firmware and a rough sketch of the video footage that I want to capture. Hopefully by this afternoon I will be editing the footage and figuring out how to export it to you tube and then link it to the blog. I guess we’ll see.

I am pretty sure that the first few videos may not be that good. But it may be entertaining to watch them improve over time. And it may be even more entertaining if they do not improve. So in a few days hopefully we will be like we used to say at Forts Benning, Bragg & Campbell. We will be Airborne.

bigfoot creators explain

blown in flashes

the bigfoot are aloof
as they abide
we seek proof
but are denied

how they roll
they care too much
value their soul
trees they touch

their ships sail
near and far
we make our jail
fear is the bars

prefer a home
the wind & the seas
as they roam
thru the trees

are the ashes
of the eternal flame
blown in flashes
gone as they came

If you have read very much of the blog you know that we are big fans of the “A Flash of Beauty” you tube channel. One of their most thought provoking guests has been Simeon Hein. His interviews are all pretty mind blowing. A lot of his interviews are done in front of a painting of Einstein that has a blur or bokeh effect. I got sidetracked for a while trying to track down the specifics of that painting. Turns out it is owned by the university where he teaches. That’s all I need, some more rabbit holes to go down.

In the second interview he tells a story about getting taken to see a magician in Japan. He said he felt the magician could sense he didn’t believe he was legitimate. Then the magician flew a cigarette into his pocket. He said he still has the cigarette. (I just went back and checked. The magician story is in the 1st interview. It starts at 18:00.) But a lot of his presentation deals with areas of science that are not well understood that would account for some of the strange behavior that bigfoot witnesses report.

I highly recommend both of the Simeon Hein interviews on A Flash of Beauty. But in this video clip the tables are turned. He is interviewing 3 of the creators from A Flash of Beauty. It is fascinating to listen to them talk about the bigfoot phenomenon. It is also interesting to hear them talk about their background and the vision that unites and inspires them. The video Is 20:20 minutes long. There is a link below. Sometimes it is just as entertaining to look into the minds of creators as it is to look at what they create. In this case even maybe more so. I hope you enjoy the video.

the mayor’s office is a tree

bigfoot moves
thru the trees
the angel approves
of what it sees

uses stealth
escapes attention
it is his wealth
and his pension

it all allows
him free will
it is his house
on the hill

he is a player
he gets around
he is the mayor
the trees his town

out in the woods
living large
it is good
to be in charge

thru the rains
no coat to deal with
bigfoot remains 
both real & a myth

take the test
as your reality swirls
he is in the best 
of both worlds

Check out the home page and you will see that the blog now has a second name “bigfootpoet.com.” In the future you should be able to access the blog thru either name. So now along with bigfoot, poetry, music, articles on Hawaii and bigfoot flyovers you will have another avenue of entertainment. You can monitor our identity crisis : )

Several of the blogs readers have suggested that a new or second name might better reflect that there is poetry (or at least an attempt) every day.

I could go completely off the deep end and write something crazy and wacky like ” I feel bigfoot’s leading in this.” But for most of you out there just trying to put out a blog about bigfoot is probably crazy and wacky enough.

I hope that this blog isn’t the only crazy and wacky fun that you have today. Remember to smile.
