on the ground & in the air
it is well known
we're in the sky
we have the drone
for the eagle eye
they are eternal words
that the angels sing true
I've always heard
motorcycles have wings too
poems we write
similar sounds we pair
as we take flight
on the ground & in the air
it will be sweet
it will be true
we're saving a seat
just for you
I am returning to Virginia to join my brother as we travel back to Lexington KY to Central Kentucky Motorsports to pick up and trailer the bikes back to the holler. I plan to leave for the holler tomorrow. It should be a fun adventure. We love sitting around and talking about stuff we did together decades ago. Time for some new memories! I have a lot of errands to run today and loose ends to tie up before I leave. I usually stay longer in Louisville than 3 nights when I return. Time to shake things up : )
I hope that you are making new memories that both brighten your day now and in the future when you reflect on them!
