was just a movie

lights in the sky
are they landing
go ahead & try
there is no understanding

captains & kings
it hasn't been unrollled
there are some things
we haven't been told

fly in a rush
over a park
they may be just as much
in the dark

are the robots
getting ready to turn
there is still a lot
for us to learn

maintain your honor
do what is right
hopefully John Connor
will never have to fight

the question we put
crazy or not
could bigfoot
whip a robot

making a new story

the setting sun burns
the moon glows
getting ready to return
getting ready to go

bread was broken
a cooking show
words were spoken 
of long ago

family oratory
as good as gold
making a new story
to be told

it was definitely  good
somewhere in the trees
it is understood
that bigfoot agrees

I am leaving the holler this morning . I am beginning to load the car. I am trying to decide if it is more of a Douglass MacArthur ” I shall return” or a Terminator “I’ll be back” situation. I guess I will have to go with the MacArthur one. It seems a lot less scary.
