beauty moves at its own speed
takes its time to come out
complex is its seed
it takes time for it to sprout

we wait in the middle
flirting with feeling Comfortably Numb
in this type of riddle
impatience is kind of dumb

it is not the godless horde 
rushing over the hilltop
you will get your reward
if you wait for its crop

the eloquence it speaks
will set your soul free
bigfoot has seen it in peeks
from behind the tree

It is another cold morning in the neighborhood this morning. But it is supposed to get up to 31 degrees by the end of the day. That will be a heatwave compared to yesterday.

I am going to do something a little different today. When I finished the poem I immediately thought that 2 of the ideas remind me of videos. Or maybe the videos or the actual song inspired the lines. As in everything else in life creativity is about making connections.

One of the videos is Pink Floyd doing a performance of Comfortably Numb at Knebworth in 1990. And the other is a short clip of a Viking prayer before the godless hordes rush over the hilltop to fight. I am not sure how well these will work in this blog post but it is probably not a bad idea to shake things up a little every now and then.

First off we need to do a bit of house keeping. If any one tried to access the pictures from the last post & encountered a problem I have fixed & streamlined that issue. You should be able to see the pictures of the Wood Booger Grill with just one click now. I did not realize that getting to the photos on Pinterest would require going thru so many hoops. So now the link takes you straight to the photos with one click on Google Photos.

For today’s post we are venturing into new territory. I have been laying the ground work for trying to do some drone footage on you tube for the blog. And as I was researching & planning this I found myself listening to one Pink Floyd song quite a bit. I should make you guess but I will tell you. It Is Learning to Fly : ). I am pretty sure that will be the background music for at least one Bigfoot Sky Search Mission. So Google put this song in my feed. It took me a little while to realize that Romany Gilmour is David Gilmour’s daughter.

So what in the world has this got to do with bigfoot. As I began to grasp for straws I thought about the big black dog wandering thru but honestly probably “close but no cigar”. And then I thought back to this blog’s manifesto & the line “in the in between” so I guess that is somehow related to a song titled Between Two Points.

I have always planned to do musically themed posts occasionally in this blog as a kind of break from things. As a matter of fact I have one in mind that may even be almost too much bigfoot. But this is the one we kick it off with.

I am planning on conducting some type of drone operation in the near future. That will take some time to actually pull off. But at this time it remains in my vision for the blog.
