Rich Germeau part 2
12JUL25
out of the miry clay
my mind sits
behind some locks
everything fits
n2 a neat box
outside the door
the wind blows
whispering more
than I know
in the moving air
a question is implied
do I dare
to venture outside
the unknown
waits to play
promising I'll be blown
completely away
wisdom in their edge
the words soar
will I find courage
to open the door
the door unlock
and fly away
my foot on a rock
out of the miry clay
will I be free
or still in the house
bigfoot behind a tree
still as a mouse
telepathy he sends
aiding my vision
as he & the wind
await my decision
have been chosen
don't know why
as I remain frozen
before their eyes
in the winds voice
a bell tolls
make your choice
listen to your soul
Some of you may recognize the title to the poem. It is from the 40th Psalm. By the way it may be important for me to point out that I am in no way making any claims of “ex cathedra” in this post. I do not claim to represent the church, the Scriptures or any thing Holy. That being said I have spent time studying the Bible. My study of Scripture has usually been in the New International Version. My devotional reading has almost always been in the King James Version. And I sometimes jump over to the NIV, NAS or Living Bible if I can’t figure out exactly what the beautiful poetry in the KJV is trying to get across. I often wonder if all the time that my mind has spent in the poetry and short phrasings of the KJV has influenced how I write. And hopefully that time in the scriptures has influenced how I see things. There is a lot of wisdom in the Scriptures about the unseen being stronger and more real than the seen. As you read the book it really does read you. My apologies if you only came here for crazy sounding bigfoot stuff : )
Some of you may recognize it from somewhere else. 40 is the 10th track on the 1983 album War by U2. Live versions of the song are also on the 1983 live album Under a Blood Red Sky and the 1984 concert film U2 Live at Red Rocks: Under a Blood Red Sky. The song is based on the 40th Psalm.
It may be important for me to point out that I in no way make any claims to represent the band U2. But again I have spent time listening to their music. Most of their music that I have listened to is their earlier stuff up thru the Joshua Tree. Some people refer to that album as their seminary album.
Today I am providing a link to a video with Rich Germeau. This is part 2 of an interview that I have already posted. The title of that post is Rich Germeau sees bigfoot. It was posted on 19JUN25. If you are scrolling on a mobile device it is 20 posts ago.
Rich Germeau’s interview was one of the first ones that I saw that really made an impact on me. He is a former marine. He was a police officer at the time he had his experience. He talks about a lot of the things that you will hear over and over if you watch many of the bigfoot videos. This 2 part interview is still one of my favorite bigfoot videos to watch. And over the years it has seemed to resonate with a lot of people.
Enjoy the video and your Saturday!
