waters can be muddy
08OCT25
where big feet wade
waters can be muddy
where big feet wade
our big buddy
were tracks laid
he has immense speed
as he crosses land
he has no need
for a mojo hand
his appearance always fleeting
the subjects constantly trips me
there will be no meeting
with a gypsy
loved and feared
pretty much unknown
he is plenty weird
all on his own
This morning we add another entry into the Music (non Hawaiian) section of the Drop Down Menu. I am linking a performance of “Got My Mojo Workin’ “ by Muddy Waters. I looked at several versions of this song on you tube and this one seems to be the slickest and most dynamic version. As you watch the video you can probably sense the influence that he had on the blues and on rock ‘n’ roll music. His band is just something else.
The poem is a little out there. But if you have been reading the blog for long you are probably not surprised. I was trying to tie bigfoot in with Muddy Waters and the lyrics to the song.
If bigfoot really does exist I am pretty sure that he is probably not “down” with being every where that I try to put him in the poems. Who knows? Maybe one of these days I will get a talking to. If you have been reading the blog for long you already know it will probably be in mind speak : )
Enjoy the video & your Wednesday!
