the bigfoot blur

21JUL26

is not a c(rhyme)

a poet is a witch
swims in the beyond
the words they stitch
the pen the wand

words & thoughts
together they stir
like bigfoot caught
in the blur

sails on the mast
full of wind
spells they cast
pull & send

Poe's The Raven
black as coal
maybe he's savin'
his own soul

Enjoy your Tuesday. Do not remain aloof from the goof.

Edgar Allan Poe’s “The Raven” is so influential that it had a professional football team named after it. I was wondering as I read this morning’s poem if all of the press on whether or not Lamar Jackson will have a good season or not had somehow influenced me. That along with whether or not John Harbaugh will succeed with the Giants have dominated the airwaves recently. But really don’t you think that bigfoot poetry is importanter than all of this : )
