freeing the slaves

05JUL26

waving in the wind

don't stop the laughter
or go forth & cry
on the day after
the 4th of July

know Old Glory
still waves in the distance
& tells its story
with the same insistence

bigfoot can see
it reveal like a flower
even behind the tree
he feels its power

freeing the slaves
making new friends
as they both wave
in the winds

Enjoy your Sunday. Do not remain aloof from the goof.
