bigfoot resistance
bigfoot is annoyed
by our observation
wants to avoid
our Indian reservation
uses his senses
and his grace
likes our fences
that keep us in place
knows his home
is in the trees
that he has to roam
the definition of free
so it is unseen
that he will stay
knows we don't mean
what we say
Since a lot of the poems seem to have an environmental theme I thought it would be interesting to Google what the Sierra Club’s official position on the existence of bigfoot is. The Sierra Club does not have an official position, policy, or belief in the existence of Bigfoot. The information that I read on Google also pointed out that the Sierra Club does not want anyone to think that they endorse the Sierra Sounds. This refers to famous bigfoot recordings made starting in 1971 in the Sierra Nevada mountains. A Flash of Beauty YouTube channel is working on a movie about this subject featuring Ron Morehead. They have released a trailer for it.
I am not sure that anyone is sure about anything about bigfoot. But if I had to guess I’m thinking that the big guy would prefer not to be “official.”
And if you don’t believe in bigfoot it is probably OK to be “official” about that : )
Enjoy your Tuesday.
NOTE: The blog has a menu with more video content. On a computer it will be at the top of the screen. On a tablet or mobile device it will be the 3 stacked slashes to the. right of the word ASTRA. Enjoy the blog.
