The first line of the poem may be a nod to Joe Friday from the TV show Dragnet. One of his famous lines was “Just the facts ma’am.”
On this past Wednseday I attended a presentation at Quest Outdoors in St. Matthews. Todd Parker gave the presentation. He talked mainly about his backpacking trips in Wyoming and Idaho. He demonstrated how he packed his backpack. He also narrated a slideshow of photos from the trips. A lot of the photos were breath taking. The presentation was interesting and highlighted a lot of topics that I had never even thought about.
They did a drawing at the end of the presentation and gave away several items. I won a really nice sleeping pad. So any of you who live in the Louisville area may want to check it out. I am pretty sure that they list the upcoming events on their Facebook page. As a matter of fact I saw where Dan DeGeorge will be hosting a Ukulele Jam & Learn on 29MAR26 at 2PM. If you have ever watched any of the blog’s YouTube videos then you have seen the top hat on top of the ukulele.
And since they collected emails when they did the drawings there will probably be an email alert.
