some say underground
or another dimension
makes a lot of sound
to get your attention
the earth he loves
the wisdom of Spock
know he's not above
throwing a rock
come too near
or get on his hill
a whole lot of fear
he is able to instill
oral and written history
books and pages
he is the mystery
for the ages
we do not brag
or even try
but it is his flag
that we fly
