wisdom of wings
chirps for words wisdom of wings known by birds in all things
sounds set pure in the breeze in a lecture in the trees
it is smooth as it rolls let it sooth in your soul
feel its touch open its seals just as much as he feels
breathe the air creating sound your soul is there waiting to be found
in your core your every heartbeat do not ignore there under your feet
your heart is full and it is bound feel the pull of the ground
try to learn measure wisdom's girth before you return treasure the earth
every angel knows the true worth of all that flows between Heaven & Earth
To be down to earth is a phrase we use to describe someone that is genuinely humble and friendly. When you start looking into the wild and wacky world of bigfoot before long you find yourself reading about a lot of things attempting to explain just exactly how his existence might be possible. And I’m pretty sure right now that I can honestly tell you that if you are expecting to walk away from your journey with any neat and tidy answers you are going to be disappointed.
The deeper you look into the bigfoot issue, the more confusing the creature becomes.
Ray Crowe, 2008
That quote is on the first page of this blog. It is taken from a book called Tribal Bigfoot written by David Paulides. He is a former police detective who uses a lot of the investigative skills he learned as a detective to investigate bigfoot reports. He also does documentaries on and has written books on people who go missing from our national parks. He states in the introduction to Tribal Bigfoot that when Ray Crow told him this he immediately aligned it with statements from older adults who say, “As you get older you realize how much you really don’t know.” That statement pretty much takes us back to yesterday with Einstein and his quote on the circle of light.
As you study and read these books there is a recurring theme. And that theme is that as we embrace modern living and technology something is getting left behind. And the gist of this line of thought is that what is getting left behind is vital and important. And that it is more powerful than what we are embracing. You kind of read between the lines and get the feeling that the writers are painting us kind of like the native Americans way back when handing over our lands for shiny trinkets. And a recurring theme in all of these books is that we should be embracing the earth and our connection to it. There is a line of thought that we as a people were once much more powerful than we are now. And that the further we divorce our self from the earth the weaker we are becoming.
So is this a blog post or the ravings of a lunatic? Who knows? Just like the issue of all the bigfoot stuff we are still working thru a lot of this stuff and probably always will be. But I do think that is possible that the earth is much more powerful than we have been taught to believe. And I do think that is possible that some beings could be able to use that power by being close to and understanding the earth. And it is possible that we could once do something similar.
The one thing that I am sure of is the power that is in a smile. Enjoy your day.
