fool’s gold
hear the rain drops
fall on the roof
but nothing stops
the way we goof
the global search
for our big friend
that is the church
that we attend
place our bets
not sure when
can we get
a loud "Amen"
it's pretty amusing
no rules told
some say we're using
fool's gold
not for the weak
abuses the feet
the one we seek
refuses to meet
but we're having fun
we have to say it
like tons and tons
anyway you weigh it
we bang the drum
and never cease
know that we come
in peace
