behind the tree
off your cap pull
cut your bangs and see
there the apple
hangs on the tree
feel the sensation
of being toyed
is it temptation
for you to avoid
is it fun
do you reach
has it begun
to already teach
snake in its coil
claims to know
will it break the soil
flame and grow
says to stop
and be its friend
will his crop
be your end
keep a close eye
before you agree
ask the big guy
behind the tree
Enjoy your Thursday.
